Day 63 - Ramadan and new special diet

Hi there,

Yesterday it was the day of Ramadan. According to Wikipedia, Ramadan (Arabic: رمضان‎ RamaḍānArabic pronunciation: [rɑmɑˈdˤɑːn]) (alsoRamazan) is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, which lasts 29 to 30 days. It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating and drinking during daylight hours and is intended to teach Muslims about patience, spirituality, humility and submissiveness to God.

So during the daylight, I can't have my breakfast, my snacks, my lunch and my snack on PCP terms. Patrick had to adjust my diet to get around this daylight constraint. Consequence, there is just too much food to eat at night and surprinsingly, my stomach can't handle all that.

Last year, I took on weight during Ramadan. You starve yourself during the day and during the night, you have those gigantic buffets with a lot of food sweet etc... and you do this for 30 days so you can imagine. I was eating so much food that I had to take a nap to digest all that. This year is much better.

I still exercise late during the day and before iftar '=moment when you are allowed to eat'. I did my 25 minutes swim but did not have the energy to do the rest of the workout. Hopefully i will today.
